RISE-14 Leading as an Ally

In this course, participants are introduced to an exploratory discussion on allyship within leadership. It is necessary to develop a practical understanding of the roles of Allies, Advocates, & Accomplices, how to use privilege to advance the goal of equity and inclusion for everyone, and how to turn good intentions into impactful actions.

RISE-14 continues a deeper conversation about diversity, equity, and inclusion and how leaders come to understand their role as an ally.

Participants will complete four workshops designed to allow participants to understand their own motivations for becoming an ally, how their own experience shapes their behavior, and how to use their own strengths to support the achievement of goals and objectives for others.
