The RISE cultural competency platform is an intensive three day session that will bolster your understanding of modern HRM standards, diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and the required organizational change management. The course takes an unyielding personal inventory of aspects of your own thinking related to the level of commitment that is necessary to bring about change and how to continually measure and monitor the desired outcomes.

Learn how your perspectives and experiences can contribute to creating and sustaining an inclusive and equitable workplace. Participants will benefit from evidence-based exercises that increase participants’ self-reflection, alongside concrete steps for improvement while creating lasting behavior change and the kind of inclusive culture that helps organizations thrive is the only way to develop a truly equitable organization.

RISE is not a quick-fix and it cannot be used as once-a-year seminar-style reminder that “diversity is good.”
RISE requires commitment from all levels of the organization, beginning with senior leadership.
RISE requires active and consistent involvement, with mindful intention to live in a workplace culture that is open to unique backgrounds, personalities and thinking-styles across the enterprise.

This course includes thought-provoking workshop and self-journaling exercises surrounding Core Identify, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Restorative Justice, Community Engagement, Policies and Procedures and Mentorships.
